 HOW WELL I LEARN BY PLAYING!

The best way to work on the English language in the classroom is through games. 

With Puzzlemaker we can create many good, attractive, and interesting resources for our students. In this new entry, my proposal is a crisscross of fruits and vegetables.

Individually we will give each student this activity to solve, and then they will have to indicate what fruit or vegetable it is in Spanish.

The students will have a great time playing. 😊

ALPHABET SOUP

 IRREGULAR VERBS

As an introduction to grammar and irregular verbs in primary school, the alphabet soup is a good activity for students to get to know some of the irregular verbs. 

Thanks to the resource that I have created in Educaplay, students will be able to learn more about irregular verbs. We can do the activity individually or in groups. Since there is a stopwatch when they doing the alphabet soup, we can see which student or group of students does it the fastest. 

After making the activity, students, with the help of the dictionary must look up the meaning of each word and create a sentence with that irregular verb.

What are you hiding?

THE SECRET CHEST

This activity is intended for students especially in the second cycle of primary school, since it can be a little difficult. 

First of all, we will organize the class into groups of 4 students each. In the middle of the class the teacher will put a secret chest, full of mysterious things. Each group has to organize a dialogue about the chest, for example, a group starts a conversation saying that they are in the middle of the desert and they have found a chest that cannot be opened because it has five locks that every time they touch them with their fingers gives them an electric current. Another group can imagine that the box was buried in the forest. 

First, we will let the students write their story on paper, in that story there must be dialogues between the 4 participants, in this way, we will develop writing and speaking skills. 

Once this part of the activity is done, we will take the students to the computer room so that, using Canva or storyboard, they can design their story graphically in the form of a comic. They must also create their open secret chest with those things that they had imagined.

ARE YOU SCARED?👻

Ready to learn English in a fun way? 

This activity can be done at home or in the classroom. The activity is about a song in English, since it has been recently Halloween. With the song, students will learn new vocabulary and pronunciation. Every time the song says a phrase, the students must repeat it to improve their speaking. It is a simple song adapted for primary school children.

Thanks to the song we will do several activities, the first of which will be a Quizziz in groups of 4 students each. 

The winning team will be the first to choose how to decorate the class, that is, according to the order of winners they will choose what they want to do to decorate the entire Halloween class, as in URL.
